I went Legoland in Malaysia with M yesterday. Many thanks to her cousin in Malaysia who brought us there. We went to Jurong East interchange and took this bus by the name of Causeway Link, either CW3 or CW4. With $4, these buses can bring us through the Tuas checkpoint and to Gelang Patah which is nearest to Legoland. Her cousin came and fetch us from the Gelang Patah terminal and from there we set off to Legoland!
Legoland is sited at the heart of Iskandar Malaysia. For those who want to go legoland straight from Singapore, you need to go via the Tuas link, proceed until you see the Gelang Patah interchange and take exit 213 that will lead to Legoland and Kota Iskandar. The drive takes about 15 to 20 minutes.
The weather is extremely hot, i came prepared with lots of sunblock and umbrella. But holding the umbrella makes it very tough to take photos. It would be better to wear a cap instead.
The moment we entered, there is this garden full of Lego bricks making the different buildings found in Asia. I have a quick visit of KL, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Brunei, China, India and even Singapore.
After which, we entered another area where there are rides and games. It was such a hot day that we decided to take the water splashing rides and roller coaster, took a few of them to make our money worth. We were quite fortunate that we did not wait very long for each ride. One ride only takes about 5mins. I guess it is because it was really a hot day and it is still the CNY period. People started swarming in about 4plus 5. However i heard Legoland closes at 8, though online information states 6.
We left the place around 6, wanted to go to watch this Setia Super concert, but the way there was so jammed with cars, we decided to take a good dinner and head for KTV in wu fu men area instead. We shall hold own concert instead of squeezing with the others. :)
