Penn State and East Coast trip

The trip to State college took about 4 hours plus on mega bus. It was a comfortable big bus with wifi available on it. As we are attending my cousin's graduation, there is little travelling. So here's the tranquil surroundings of state college area.

The five days at Penn State...

The East Coast trip
We went back to New York to start our 6-day east coast tour. This time round, there is no need to worry about transport. We just sit on the bus, when the bus stop, we alight to visit the toilet, walk for maybe 30mins or less and go back to the bus again. There is alot of travelling on the bus, sometimes as much as 2hours and more when there is a jam on the roads. Our hotel is in New Jersey for the first two days so there is time wastage in travelling to New York to and fro. When we meet the tour group on the first day, it was a big tour group with near to 50 people. We spent our first night in Hotel Somerset and spent the whole of second day in New York which we had mostly covered on our own, the itinerary includes alot of museums which we did not go too.

We started our trip to Philadelphia and Washington DC on the 3rd day...

A trip to the corning glass museum and Niagara falls on the 4th day. Bus journey to Niagara falls is very long. The surrounding  greenery around the old fort Niagara is very nice.

Niagara falls - the place i have been looking forward to. We took this "maid of the mist" boat ride and went to the falls, cannot take alot of pictures as the water from Niagara falls keep splashing upon us. The view is just spectacular and it would be even better if the sky is not so gloomy that day.

It was University visiting on the 5th day with a trip to Harvard in Boston. And the best highlight i would say is the lobster dinner we had in the evening. The lobster is huge and it was really my first time eating a lobster like that!

This Boston lobster dinner is just 30 dollars per person, thought it is quite worth it though.

The last day was a visit to Quincy Market before we head back to Flushing for two days of rest before our West Coast trip.

Coming up next...West Coast trip...
